January 2014:
Hi Maria,
I currently direct a pre-professional ballet school and company in Saratoga Springs, NY. I was asked to teach a couple of creative movement classes at my local YMCA and came across your blog. I just wanted to thank you for connecting so many dance educators. It is so nice to see so many people sharing ideas in one place. It has been a long time since I have taught ballet classes geared to the young child. I think I read all of your postings and refer back to them often. I have to say that revisiting dance through a 4 year olds eyes has sparked my own imagination and reminded me of why I do what I do. So thanks again for creating such an amazing forum. I can’t wait to see what is next!
Sincerely,
Eve Whelchel

November 2013:
Hi Maria,
Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for all the great ideas and posts on this blog. Though I am a dance educator, I am NOT an early childhood educator. Despite being brilliant with teens and adults, I somehow continually find myself teaching little guys no matter how much I keep telling people I do NOT have the magic for it. I definitely try, but it is such a difficult job!
So, just wanted to say I have been snooping around on your site for awhile and LOVE that a poor dancer who can’t afford all the hefty and expensive early childhood/creative movement books and curriculum has somewhere to go for ideas!!!
Please keep posting, I am selfishly stealing your ideas, and thanks again!
Best,
Sarah

November 2013:
Hi Maria,
I have stumbled upon your website via Pinterest and I am LOVING it! This is my 13th year of teaching Music and Movement. This is my second year of focusing on 4 & 5 year olds. My husband and I both teach at the American School of Dubai. Before moving abroad, we both taught in Texas. I just saw that one of my colleagues from Texas was featured as apart of your “Creative with Kids” interview segment. If you are still searching for teachers, I would love to participate! What a cool project and a way to keep growing and learning! It is way past my bedtime, but I can’t stop reading. Thanks for the inspiration!

October 2013:
Well, at the risk of sounding like a mutual admiration society, I really like your website Maria.
It’s fantastic. Congratulations.
I’ve been teaching for years but have only just started blogging.
It’s great to share.
All the best.
Edna
