Guess what? You helped me get to the second round of Dance Advantage’s Top Dance Blog Contest! I am truly grateful! Now, there is a second round! The most exciting part of this contest and the good news is this round is a little easier! All you have to do is click the circle and vote! That’s it! Read It. Move It. Share It. is a collaboration with Kerry from Picture Books and Pirouettes. Once a month Kerry recommends a book for me to use in my creative movement classes. One day as we were doing the Toy Shop dance one dancer said let’s be a bouncy ball! Well, I never thought of that and thought it might be fun to explore. I was in luck because Kerry had already picked the book Bounce to try with my class. Here is how I used the book in my 4 year olds. Warning: It’s really bouncy!
Recently I have started doing near and far lessons with my students because I have found them literally sitting on top of each other when I walk in the room.
