Call and Response

Yesterday, I tried something with my 6 year old tap class that I wasn’t sure would work but I wanted to give it a shot anyway. Call and Response. We have been using rhythm sticks and I thought that instead of just doing rhythm, it might be fun to try to make it a little more challenging. Continue reading Call and Response

Teaching Rhythm with Sticks

Tappy Day!

I still have a few hours to wish you all a Happy National Tap Dance Day! I taught ballet and movement all day today to the babies, but I was surely thinking about tap dance while I was doing it! Did you do anything to celebrate today? I hope you went to class or tappy hour! . . . → Read More: Tappy Day!
