Shelf Elf Does Tendu?
Ok, who thinks this Elf on the Shelf idea is the sweetest thing ever?
Are you using one in your studio? Or in your classes? If I had my own space, I would get one in a heartbeat. I know many families use them at home, but I think it’s an awesome idea to try at dance as well! What a sweet tradition to look forward to every year. A reader mentioned that she wanted to get one for next week, because her students can’t stop talking about it!
What are your ideas for shelf elf? Would you ever get an Elfie to use with your students? Where would you hide him in your dance room? Would you dress him up? Make him do tendu? Hang him from the barre? Maybe he’s a sneaky DJ? The possibilities are endless!
Speaking of traditions, do you have any other traditions at dance class that you could share with us?
p.s. Who’s littles are exploding with energy? Or the opposite, moody!? Cue the holidays, right? At least we are all in this together!
Happy Holidays!

I can’t wait to do it again next year.

December 16, 2012 at 11:26 pm (156 days ago)Hi, Maria. So fun! We just got our copy of Elf on the Shelf — and the Elf! — this weekend. My oldest came home from school the other day asking for it, saying almost everyone in her class has one! I love the idea of using it in dance class. I would love to hear if you get a lot of responses from your post!
